Based on a report by brokerage and analysis firm Elara Capital, Coforge, L&T Infotech (LTI), and Persistent Methods (PSYS) noticed double-digit wage hikes in FY22, Which will be the highest in the last four years.
As per the report, the average pay increase in FY12 was approximate twice the five-year average pay rise for midcap Indian IT firms. As a consequence of the severe production conflicts, considerable hikes are needed.
Coforge increased to pay the most, by 27.2 percent year on year (YoY), followed by L&T Infotech, which increased pay by 18.3 percent, Persistent Methods by 14.5 percent, Mphasis by 9%, and Mindtree by 7%.
According to Elara Securities, at wage CAGR for FY 17-22, LTI/Coforge is on the highest, with Mindtree and Mphasis on the lowest edge. These companies provided good training for their employees.
Meanwhile, all firms experienced worker pyramid realignment in 2022, with Mindtree (MTCL) leading the way. According to the study, crew growth exceeded average pay growth in FY22, revealing quicker fresher additions (pyramid flattening) than in the four preceding years. According to research, IT companies are doing well in terms of technical capability, and R&D. ISG’s Q2CY22 ER&D grew 41% YOY. The typical employee salary for most companies increased by double digits year over year in FY22. In addition to their technology strengths, these companies are well-equipped with engineering talents.
